    Location: the hotel was near to the Dahlonega Square shops and restaurants as well as the main square in Dahlonega. The personnel was polite and courteous, and the host too. Our room was clean with wine, a comfortable bed, extra touches.

    Quaint Charm with Great Staff!

    The staff was cute, and my Standard Queen Room was both cozy and spacious. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring all the charming shops and eateries in Dahlonega. I really enjoyed the onsite wine tasting too. The lobby had an odd smell that could use some attention.

    The Dahlonega Square Hotel & Villas is a gem! The natural cut fries at Back Porch Oyster Bar were lovely, and I had a blast exploring local bites nearby. The staff was super cute, and the location was perfect for walking to the festival excitement. Plus, enjoying a wine tasting right at the hotel was a treat we won't forget!

    Now, here's the kicker, for almost $700 over four nights, you'd expect some TLC, but we had to ring a bell just to get service! Our room? It was clean but was like a cave with a dirty wall outside. And those earplugs? Yeah, it was that loud. Still a charming area, but customer care needs a glow up.

    The bathroom, while small, boasts nice fixtures and finishes were great. Proximity to traffic means access to downtown amenities is easy, ideal for sampling local dining and shops.

    Misleading, the accommodation isn't even on the square, quite the letdown since I expected to be right in the thick of things. Our unit felt cramped, with a hard-to-open front door and a TV positioned at eye-level suitable only for a Wookiee. Noisy nights were common, thanks to both upstairs neighbors and traffic. We even had leave blowers outside at dawn on one of those nights. There are parking issues too. If you bring large luggage, you'll have to haul it quite a distance.

    I enjoyed a great experience during my two-night stay. It was like a cozy space for a couple, as I was here with my partner. I appreciated the local wine tasting right in the hotel. Everything was clean, and we could easily walk to nearby shops and restaurants for dining.

    One downside was the bedroom size. It felt cramped to move around. The TV was positioned quite high. The bathroom lacked storage for our items, forcing us to use the living area instead.

    Loved the charming decor and large, quiet room. Perfect spot for strolling around to shop and dine. The ambiance was good and made for a wonderful escape!

    Those earplugs weren't just a cute gesture-turns out, they were quite necessary! And our fridge wasn't really 'fridge-ing' at all. Who knew it was just a fancy icebox?
